Meet our first CFDS-AA’s who successfully satisfied the standards for holding this designation
Jo-Anne Fiore, Bolton, ON
Ms Fiore BA, CFP, RRC, CFDS, Acc.FM brings over 25 years of financial consulting experience to her clients.
Ms Fiore completed a Certificate in Family Mediation and Bachelor of Arts, Economics at York University, followed by a CFP and RRC from the Canadian Institute of Financial Planning (CIFP).
In addition to being a member of member of both the Caledon Chamber of Commerce and the Peel Collaborative Law Group, Ms Fiore was issued the New Startup Business of the Year award from the Caledon Community Services Small Business Enterprise Center in October 2013, the same year achieving the Chartered Financial Divorce Specialist designation.
Ms Fiore is an Accredited Mediator (OAFM) and Collaborative Law Team Practice Member primarily serving the following areas:
Alliston, Barrie, Beeton, Bolton, Bradford, Brampton, Caledon, Caledon East, Collingwood, Erin, Hillsburgh, Hockley, King City, Mississauga, Nobleton, Orangeville, Schomberg, Tottenham, Vaughn/Woodbridge

Chartered Financial Divorce Specialist designation – Advanced Accreditation (CFDS-AA)
The following requirements must be met to be grandfathered for this higher designation:
- Graduated CFDS
- E & O insurance coverage up to date
- Three (3) letters of endorsement from other professionals who worked on cases together
- Checklist for endorsement (see application)
- Proof of other designations (if applicable)
For those eligible to be grandfathered, the temporary discount is available until August 31st
July 1st to August 31st – $500 + HST
The criteria to determine eligibility for grandfathering is available via a preliminary form you can request via info@afds.ca specifying ‘Mentor Designation Grandfathering’ in the subject line.
