Caroline Cranston’s experience includes 26 years in banking with BMO Financial Group, progressively moving to up through senior roles and larger territories as a Financial Service Manager, Branch Manager, Financial Planner, Financial Planning Coach, Investment Sales Manager for Northern Ontario, and Regional Vice President, Financial Planning for Alberta and Prairies Central Canada.

Ms. Cranston built an impressive array of credentials from a variety of sources including the Institute of Canadian Bankers, completion of the Canadian Securities Course Certificate from the Canadian Securities Institute in 2001, and the CFP in 2004 from FP Canada.

In 2019, Ms. Cranston founded DCO Consulting Solutions, offering services of mediation, conflict coaching, and fee-based financial planning along with divorce financial analysis.  Ms. Cranston also purchased a Fairway Divorce franchise.

Ms. Cranston continued building credentials with multiple arbitration and mediation certifications from institutions such as Herzing College, Bow Valley College, ADR Institute of Canada and the University of Calgary.  Ms. Cranston is also an Enriched Academy financial coach.

When the IDFA ended support for Canadian members in 2020, Ms. Cranston qualified as a Canadian Financial Divorce Specialist. 

Most recently, Ms. Cranston satisfied the requirements for Chartered Financial Divorce Specialist – Advanced Accreditation.
